About Angel Lane Bakery



We are an English family located in Alpharetta, Georgia.   I use my own traditional style shortbread recipe, which I first baked for a UK high school cooking exam many years ago.  Very slightly refined; I have now enjoyed making it for over thirty years.

Always a favorite with my family and well received by friends, it became a popular seasonal gift when we moved here to the US.  When this popularity continued year round, Angel Lane Bakery was started as a small commercial venture, with our company name derived from Angel Lane in the market town of Wincanton in Somerset, England, where our family still lives in Angel Cottage.

 

We are proud to have established a loyal following of customers and patrons and our shortbread continues to grow in popularity.  Perfect for any event or occasion it is also the ideal accompaniment for that good cup of morning coffee of afternoon tea....
